Dr. Ken Jones Ph.D.

Dr. Jones has been a student of leadership for many years, with extensive study and training from well-known leaders in that field. He is a frequent speaker for churches, educational groups, businesses, and major corporations on the subject of leadership. His seminars blend leadership with lessons on quality living, emphasizing the importance of mission, values, vision as well as the leader’s personal character. He is the author of Leadership After God’s Own Heart and The Ultimate Leader.

After obtaining a Ph.D. in Engineering from Oklahoma State University and spending a decade in the field of Engineering, Dr. Jones served a second decade as a preaching minister for two congregations, the last of which had an average attendance of 1,500 in Sunday morning worship. In his next two decades, he served as President of Lubbock Christian University and served in the Chancellor role. He also served as CEO of a home health organization as they were transitioning and developing top leadership.

Dr. Jones is currently an executive coach to a variety of business and ministry leaders. He completed the certificate program in Executive Leadership Coaching at Georgetown University in 2013.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, he shares a passion for farming and ranching with his son who continues the family business near Cordell, Oklahoma. He and his wife Suzie have two married children, two granddaughters, and two grandsons. He enjoys reading, writing, speaking, and ranching.
